Race For The Chase

Race for the Chase is a multi-year fundraising campaign launched in 2025 to preserve and protect the historic Iroquois Steeplechase racecourse at Percy Warner Park, home to one of Nashville’s most treasured traditions since 1941. Originally constructed in the late 1930s through the Works Progress Administration, the course now requires significant infrastructure improvements as key elements reach the end of their lifespan.
With a goal of raising $3.75 million, the campaign will fund critical upgrades to ensure the racecourse remains safe, sustainable and equipped to host a world-class steeplechase event for generations to come, while continuing the Iroquois Steeplechase’s longstanding legacy of equestrian sport, community engagement and charitable giving.
